Will Lloyd was appointed Vice -President of the New State of State to the first appointment of Tom McGago as a major editor.
Lloyd from the Sunday Times joins, where he has been a reporter since March 2024. The former political editor MCTAGUE joined the new statesman this week.

The new executive editor of the state, Tom Gatti, a former acting editor, will leave the title next month to join the observer as a literary editor.
