Why do we judge the alternative mother’s decisions for celebrities?

Not your child? Not your work. In this era of social media, birth advertisements are usually met with celebration and celebration of the family. But when additional details are revealed about childbirth, commentators rush to issue the ruling – especially if the alternative mother is involved. We have seen this directly in January, when Lily Collins and Charlie McDwell announced the birth of their daughter Tof, while making sure of their “amazing alternative” in an Instagram joint publication. While some followers passed through their congratulations, others installed the couple’s decision using an alternative, speculating their thinking, describing their choice as “disappointing” and even exploiting them.

After passing through dozens of wrong assumptions and hateful messages, our sincere reaction is. . . Are we? truly You are still doing this? But women’s criticism of their mother decisions is nothing new. (Remember that Priyanka Chopra faced?) In January 2024, Pope Francis also sparked a discussion after he called for a global ban on religions. He described the mother as “a serious violation of the dignity of women and children”, but in reality, there are countless “generous” causes that someone can choose to use an alternative – none of them should be explained to others.

Inside the LGBTQ+ community, for example, couples can help husbands build their families and create a genetic communication with their child. People may also choose to use an alternative for medical reasons, such as fertility problems or health conditions that may lead to a high risk pregnancy. This was the case for Olivia Moon, who recently opened the alternative mother’s experience in an interview with Self.

“You need to go to this way.”

“I needed to go to this road,” Moon said, referring to the alternative mother, explaining that her “aggressive” treatment of breast cancer was eventually put in the end of the surgical menopause. “This was not for superficial reasons, or because I wanted to put my work first,” Moon said. While there We are People who decide to use an alternative based on their personal preferences (which is completely valid as well), the alternative mother is often used to help those who may not be able to carry a child or childbirth alone. Not to mention the actual alternatives who shared their positive experiences, saying they enjoy the ability to help families. Why are we still fasting in the ruling?

So the next time you see a person who welcomes the child in the world (through an alternative mother or otherwise) – just adhering to congratulations.
