There were no deep water warning signs in an entertainment park where a 11 -year -old girl sank during a birthday party, and she heard an investigation.
Kyra Hill faced difficulty in a dedicated swimming area in Liquid Leisure near Windsor, Berkshire, in August 2022.
The water in parts of the garden was depth in places, but the signs that only warned that it was shallow, was informed on Tuesday.
Kyra was found more than an hour after calling for emergency services and was transferred to Wexham Park Hospital in Slough, where her death was announced.
“There were” different drops “up to 4.5 meters (14.7 feet) inside the swimming area.
The lake was 2.68 meters deep (8.8 feet), as Keira was seen walking under the report, a report was carried out after the accident was found.
But the only signs of depth in the designated swimming area said “the risk of shallow water.”
There was a 10 -minute gap between the first and second searches for Keira in this part of the lake, he heard the investigation.
The session that was on her chair was informed of her 17 -year -old rescue guard, his name as my father, on her chair when she spotted her spray.
Abe, who was a student and a qualification for the performance of “surface water rescue operations” but not underwater, reached the point where Keira was underwater in 10 seconds.
The pathologist said he had drowned repeatedly and left the water to raise the alarm using the radio.
A member of the public continued in this field, and CCTV shows that it took another 10 minutes until the employees returned to re -enter.
Meanwhile, searches began in the main surrounding lake, young rubber and “Ninja Park”, which consists of large rubber, the pathologist said.
The Criminal Investigative Judge said that the liquid entertainment owner and manager Stewart Maraston, Director of Water David Nofal and Bibi, discussed the accident and showed the footage of the guard who indicates the area where Keira went.
ABBI qualified as a rescue guard in April 2022 and became emotional several times during the evidence.
I told the investigation: “I noticed that there is a large group of water and noticed that there was bribes, but this was friendly to the spring.
“I was sitting on a chair and saw spraying in the water, this spray did not seem to me right … It didn’t seem like the normal spraying of children playing.”
She said, “It was deeply,” she said, adding: “It looked wrong with me, it is very difficult to explain it, but my instincts told me that it was a mistake.”
In response to a question about what Mr. Nouvel told him, she said: “The group asked that I went about it if there was anyone there and told no, no one-I thought I was repeating” Was there a person here, was there someone here? “, And she told me that they got out of the water.”
Someone shouted, “Where Keira.”
She said that this vision was “terrible” and did not improve when she re -inserted water with congregation after 10 minutes.
She confirmed that she had reached the bottom of the lake during the rescue attempts, and that she believed that the park was a safe place to work.
Abbi entered for the first time at 3.20 pm.
A previous session was said to have been called the emergency services to the scene at 3.55 pm, and that Keira was found after 5:10 pm and was taken to the hospital.
On Tuesday morning, Mr. Maraston was interrogated by a lack of deep water marks.
The pathologist asked him: “Do you think it is reasonable for a parent to see that sign to think that all water is shallow?”
“You can explain it in different ways, but, yes, you can explain it in this way,” said the owner, who created the park in 2002.
He added that the signs of shallow water were established after a civil claim after someone hit the bottom with his knee.
“We were told to put shallow water signs about the danger about the facility so that people do not jump,” he said.
“It is very difficult, after it is too late … If there is a deep water sign there and also shallow water (signs), it will be conflicting.”
Mr. Maraston initially told the investigation, which he believed was “as I know” that the depth of water in the beach area was measured before Keira’s death.
Rachel Marcus, who represents the Hill family, put to him that they had not seen any documents showing that they were.
Marson answered: “I would like to say if you don’t see anything, it will not be tested.
“It was tested on the path of the next robot and doing underground things, then, no, we did not test in the swimming area.”
Tools were not required for people over the age of six, provided that they were qualified swimmers.
People were asked to sign a concession, saying that they are specialized swimmers, and they have a reasonable level of fitness and ability, and they were able to get out of the water without help, according to the investigation.
The pathologist said that CCTV from the accident showed about 42 people in water and others on the beach.
One of the rescuing guards was overseeing the area and laid Mrs. Connor to Mr. Maraston that the Liquid Leisure policy required at least one rescue for every 30 participants.
He said that rescuers in nearby activities, in the same lake of the beach area, will sometimes be achieved from their stations.
“Others look around because it never looks at all activities,” he added.
Before the director later, more rescuers should have been in service.
The pathologist said that the beach begins as a sand, but it becomes “silt and mud” further, as some witnesses described it as “sponge” at the bottom.
I suggested that this could reduce the vision of water.
There were no warnings about the bottom tissue or vision, heard the investigation.
The family lawyer also put Maraston that the muddy bottom may be difficult to get out of.
Mr. Maraston answered: “I have never had a problem, no one has said before that it would be difficult to get out.”
He added that the point where the sand turned into the mud will differ during the year, but this has not been monitored.
The pathologist said that he will not forget that this is about Keira, a 11 -year -old girl who supported Manchester United who was dreaming of a law in the law.
It was said to a previous session, which gave the post -death examination the cause of her death as drowning.
The session continues.
