A 19 -year -old woman in the hospital suffers from injuries that changed life after a suspected XL attack.
Avon and Sumrest police said that the woman was bitten by a dog in a house on Soton Street, Bristol, at about 16:15 GMT on Thursday.
The force confirmed that the dog – which was believed to have been from the XL – was secured inside the house until it reached specialized dog treatments.
The police said that the officers used protective shields while entering the address, adding that the woman was sent to the hospital by an ambulance.
