After several visits to GP and hospital months, the examination eventually showed fans in her stomach.

Disponders revealed one of all millions-the same type that killed Audrey Hepburn-which was combined on the surface of several abdominal organs, forming solid tumors and stopping them from work.

Rebecca cancer was found to be advanced, and underwent surgery to remove thirteen organs seized by the cancer.

She left her need to take up to 60 tablets per day for her body to continue working.

But after months, Rebecca got the destroyer news The surgery did not flip the cancer, and it was said to be inappropriate.

She does not know the time she left to live, but she is doing her best to enjoy the time she left.

The fanatical repetica started in physical fitness, a former educational coach in the open air, noticing an unusual weight gain around her stomach in 2018 – but she simply continued to exercise to try to lose it.

Then after Christmas in December 2018, Rebecca and many colleagues left food poisoning.

While all of them recovered soon, she was still fine after two months.

Rebecca was finally referred to the Camberland dispensary, Carlal, where a CT scan showed cancerous blocks in her stomach.

I monitored a new block on my body every day for a week – the reason was terrifying

These were later detected as Pseudomyxoma Peitonei (PMP) – Rebecca has learned that it has spread widely to other organs by a gel -like cancerous liquid called Mucin.

“After the work meal at Christmas 2018, a few of us were fine – but while others recovered quickly, it remained eight weeks later,” said Rebecca, from Aden Valley, CORBIA.

“GP has gave me several tours of antibiotics, but nothing works.

“But after a CT scan and dazzling examination, I learned that I had PMP – and that it was widely spread.

“They surgically removed some sick organs, and managed eight rounds of chemotherapy, but some diseases remained.

“Then I had a second surgery, so I was dealing with the changing effects of the life of the surgery, then I learned that the cancer had returned and was inappropriately.

“It was a tragic.

“But I have to just try to reach life, and deal with everything that comes on my way.”

The stomach swelling in Rebecca was the distinctive “jelly belly” associated with the PMP, as a result of the Mucin gathering in its stomach.

The cancerous liquid merged on the surface of many of its members to form harsh blocks, which limits the ability of its members to work.

“By the time they found it, I was full of it,” Rebecca said.

“Assault on the body”

In April 2019, she performed surgery at Christie Hospital, Manchester to remove its supplement, the navel, less than the tissues – a layer of tissue connected to the stomach and liver – and six liters of Mucin.

When the tests later showed that cancer was a high -quality and more aggressive shape than the PMP, which holds many organs, Rebecca tried eight rounds of chemotherapy, but it did not reduce the cancer enough.

I traveled to Bastingstoke and North Hampshire in November 2019, where specialists conducted an extreme and long procedure – called “Mother of all surgeries” – in an attempt to remove all abnormal tissues.

Symptoms of pseudomyxoma peritonei (PMP)

Pseudomyxoma peritonei (PMP) is rare cancer.

It usually begins to append. But it can start in another part of the intestine, bladder or ovaries.

The tumor usually grows slowly, but with its growth, it can spread from where it started in other parts of the abdominal area.

PMP cells are attached to the tissue layer that is lined inside the abdomen called the peritoneum.

Cover the peritoneum and protect the abdomen, such as the intestine. It also makes gaps around the organs, which are called the area of peritoneal.

The PMP cells make a gel -like material called Mucin, which is combined in the peritoneum. This is why PMP is sometimes called “Jelly belly”.

PMP may not cause any symptoms in its early stage.

PMP symptoms include:

  • A gradual increase in the size of the waist
  • Hernia (swelling on the abdominal wall)
  • Anorexia
  • Unjustified weight gain
  • Abdominal pain (abdominal pain)
  • Pelvis
  • Change in the intestinal habit – for example, diarrhea, constipation or leakage (smooth)

During the surgery that lasted 12 hours, they removed it in reverse, bitter bladder, spleen, large intestine, uterus, uterus, ovary, pallbop tubes, cervical, and rectum.

They also removed a portion of its stomach and its fine intestine, and the surface layer of its liver and both sides of the diaphragm.

“I went through 35 -year -old menopause – it was an attack on the body,” Rebecca said.

“As part of surgery, I had a hot liquid shape of chemotherapy – known as HIPEC – goal Any remaining cancer cells and formed the vandalism.

“I was in the hospital recovering and stopping it for several months after that.”

“Enjoy” the remaining time

Rebecca must adhere to a restricted diet with a liquid solution with an electricity solution with nutritional supplements.

It takes a daily cocktail from 50 to 60 tablets, including treatment with buddin, emiodium and alternative treatment for hormones.

However, in a snare, in the summer of 2020, Rebecca learned that cancer had not been eliminated.

She participated in a clinical trial in 2022 aimed at targeting the genetic boom associated with cancer, but made it fine.

By that time, the treatment options in Rebecca were ran out and their cancer was classified.

She is now trying to try as much as she can, as well as raise awareness of PMP.

“I try to do things to get a” normal “life – but with modifications,” Rebecca said.

“She has reached forty years old this year and I want to say yes to everything – I have been browsing, in the hot air balloon and dogs so far.

“The last challenge is the 90km” Tour De 4 “course to raise it money to Pseudomyxoma survivorSpecific PMP

“The message I want to reach is when you have a stoma or an inadvertent diagnosis, things will be very difficult.

“My daily life is a hole game – but with the right situation, you can still achieve a lot.

“And most importantly, enjoy any time you have.”
