The White House says it has concluded a trade deal with China

[ad_1]

Geneva – The White House Communications Office sent a press release on Sunday, announcing that a trade agreement has been reached with China, but it does not provide any details, and the Chinese have not yet dealt with it.

The release indicates the statement of the American commercial actor, Jameson Jarir, on Sunday in Geneva, where he said: “We are confident that the deal that we justified with our Chinese partners will help us work to solve this national emergency.”

Treasury Secretary Scott Bessin announced “great progress” that was made with the Chinese, but stopped describing a full deal.

He also said that there would be a complete briefing on Monday.

China has not yet commented on negotiations.

As of now, the trade blockade is still in effect. The White House has not yet announced that a 145 % tariff will be changed.

But the sources in the administration told ABC News that this seems an important step towards this possible procedure.
