Norway has become the 55th ARTEMIS Agreements at a ceremony at the Norwegian Space Agency in Oslo, Norway today. The Minister of Trade and Industry, Cecison Marisith, signed the Artimis agreements on behalf of the Norway government in the presence of representatives of the American government and the Director General of the Norwegian Space Agency.
The United States and Norway have a long -term relationship in space. Cooperation dates back to 1962, when NASA supported the first underlined rocket launcher over the Arctic circuit from Andutera Space. Norway is now continuing an advanced space cooperation with the United States and participated in the Office of Defense Minister (OSD), the American Space Force, the American Space Command, the American Defense Industry, and others in supplementary efforts to increase the space of space. Norway’s signature on Artemis Conventions shows its willingness to join a common vision to explore peace and use the external space.
The United States and seven other countries established the ARTEMIS agreements in 2020 to serve as a set of practical principles to direct the exploration of the responsible area. Norway joins the United States and 53 other countries – Angola, Argentina, Armenia, Australia, Austria, Bahrain, Bangladesh, Belgium, Brazil, Bulgaria, Canada, Chile, Colombia, the Republic of Cyprus, Isik, ESECEC, Essel, Essel, Eselic. Italy, Japan, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Mexico, Netherlands, New Zealand, Nigeria, Panama, Peru, Poland, Republic of Korea, Romania, Rwanda, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, Slovakia, Slovenia, Sweden, Switzra, and Urujuay – to emphasize the principles of agreements for the activity of the area Sustainable civilization. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and people lead the United States to implement the agreements.
