A man was arrested on suspicion of killing a teenager who was beaten and killed by a car.
The 19 -year -old victim died at the scene of the accident, which occurred at 20:10 GMT on Monday on Borit Street, Buri.
“I would be assured of the public that this is a targeted attack and there is no wider threat to society,” said Det Supt Wesley Knights of the Greater Police of the Manchester Police.
The officers arrested a thirty -year -old man who is still in detention for their interrogation.
“I would like to express my deepest condolences to the family of the deceased during this hard time incredibly,” said Det Supt Knights.
He asked witnesses or anyone with video clips from the area at the time to contact the police.
