Police said that a man sitting in a car was injured early Saturday morning in Lincoln Heights after two men approached him on an electric motorcycle.
The Los Angeles Police spokeswoman, Nurma Eisenman, said the victim, who was identified as a 48 -year -old Latin man, was transferred by an ambulance to a nearby hospital where he was said to be stable. The shooting was reported at about 1:15 am
According to the investigators, two Latin men approached the victim while he was sitting in his car near Humbolt Street and 23 Street in Lincoln Heights, next to the 5th Highway.
Eisenman said that men entered an argument. “Then he was suspected that two had produced a firearm and handed it over to be suspected of doubting one of them, who fired multiple footage.”
After the shooting, the gunman and his companion escaped an electric scooter in an unknown direction, said Eisenmann. Investigators did not report whether the victim was driving the car or was suspended at the time of the shooting.
