Warning: This story contains details of the alleged sexual assault on a child.

The trial of the jury in St. John was heard a certificate from the young and accused complainant on Friday.

Terrance Soucy, 52, from Apohaqui in the trial of three charges – sexual assault, sexual touch and inviting the complainant to touch him sexually.

There is a ban on publication in place to protect the girl’s identity, which was under the age of ten when it is claimed that accidents have occurred.

The girl on the field, who holds a blanket and Teddy bear, witnessed that Swissi touched her own parts on four separate occasions in 2023 when he was a guest at her family’s home.

In each case, she said she was playing the same video game on a computer in the living room for her family when Soucy sat next to her.

After the last accident in October 2023, she said she faced Soucy in messages sent via Facebook, starting with audio clips played on the field.

She said in it: “I meant you today a reason … I do not want you to touch me in a bad way.”

Then I sent a written message saying: “I want to say because my father has cameras in his living room.”

Soucy replied, “Do you need to know what?

“Oh my God … if you make you feel uncomfortable in any way, I am very sorry. I am frankly I did not mean.”

The girl replied, “I am [do] It doesn’t matter “.

The complainant was not always sure of her testimony about the dates in which things were alleged.

After the girl finished the certificate on Friday morning, Judge Arthur Dowle told the jury that children sometimes see the world differently from adults, including dates and lengths of time.

The accused took the situation

During his testimony, Soucy described himself as a karate coach. Social media publications indicate that he was also a coach of baseball and that he served in Sussex Executive Authority.

He strongly denied each of the allegations against him.

“I didn’t do it. It is difficult to hear, but I didn’t do it. I did not do anything,” he said at the court.

Under the interrogation, Prosecutor Michael Blaudet asked the messages that were exchanged via Facebook the day before the accident to the police.

Swissi said the comments were not about touching the girl.

The only defensive witness invited his lawyer, Rod McDonald.

The jury was sent to the house until Tuesday morning, when the final arguments are expected to start. They were told to come with a night bag if they were isolated during deliberations.
