Drivers on the Pyott Road in the lake may be required to slow down the slowdown – but only if the McheNry Provincial Council members bypass the voting committee against reducing the maximum proposed speed.

The proposal to reduce the maximum speed from 50 to 45 miles per hour on homes between Oak and Wilo Strits has support from the lake in the Hills police chief, but was voted on the boycott committee last month.

President Matt Manino wrote May 15 to a member of the Makhnri Caroline Campbell Province in the assault on the proposed reduction.

“As a police officer for more than 19 years, I have now become the chief of police in the lake in the hills. I responded and/or I was aware of many accidents in those intersections,” Manino wrote. “I think this change is a step in the right direction to reduce accidents, which is vital to safety and the welfare of our society.”

He was martyred in a specific accident in January at the last intersection, “Several comments on social media regarding traffic safety about these two intersections.”

District Board member Joe Gutermoller, a Republican in Lake Crystal Lake, was killed by the message during a meeting on Thursday.

“Now we are talking about not reducing the limits of speed because it is uncomfortable for some members of the Board of Directors,” said Gotsmoller.

Campbell said on Thursday that although there is resistance to reduce the maximum speed due to the belief that the boycott routes are supposed to move people faster, conditions have changed in many places. She said homes are not only used by passengers but also “hundreds of residents” who arrive in and from their homes.

Campbell said: “It is no longer a homes road that drinks open fields, but the entire residential neighborhoods create a barrier instead of working as a way to connect the neighborhood.”

Board member John Collins, a Democrat from Crystal Lake, said he takes the road to homes every day to work, and there are times when the maximum speed is not done “by anyone who leads him.”

He said he supports reducing the maximum speed.

The Board of Directors is expected to take the proposals at its meeting at 7 pm on Tuesday, May 20, at the province building in Woodstock.
