The plane crashed in East Luthayan, leaves one dead

The AAIB Air Accidents Investigation Branch was notified of a light plane accident and inquiries continue.

The 40 -year -old was the plane’s pilot and was perceived. The 42 -year -old passenger was taken to the hospital in Edinburgh, where he is described as a critical condition.

A police statement said: “We have received a report on a light plane after it crashed in the Fortune East area around 4.55 pm on Thursday, May 8, 2025,” a police statement said.

“I attended emergency services, but the 40 -year -old pilot announced his death at the scene.

“The 42 -year -old male passenger was transferred to the Royal Dishes of Adenber, as it is described as a critical condition.

“Investigations are still ongoing, and the AAIB investigation branch (AAIB) was notified.”
