My mother Edinburgh issued a warning to other parents after the discovery of a segment in a covered theatrical garden Lighter liquid.

She said that her daughter was “almost covered” in the flammable material after using the slide in East Bilton Park on monday.

This comes amid multiple reports on other fires across the city, in parks and near schools, with increasingly concern parents.

The photos shared by Caroline Binder show the metal slide with a lighter liquid tone along the interior – immediately invisible to those who use them.

Caroline posted on social media earlier this week warning the danger community after her daughter almost ended in the flammable liquid.

She said: “Beware. My daughter was almost covered with lighter liquid.

“Some absolute tendons thought that the lighting of children on the fire would be fun. There is lighter liquid everywhere inside.

“How will this be cleaned? East Pilton Park.”

She shared three pictures of the slide after her daughter used her, with a lighter liquid covering the tube.

The substance contains strong, harmful chemicals if it is inhaled and ignited immediately when in contact with an open flame.

Lighter liquid is also very toxic and requires immediate medical attention if taken.

Only yesterday, the books in a “free small library” were removed outside the St. Mary’s Elementary School in St. Mary, and the effects of other fires that were irreplaceable in Lucind Park Watho were discovered earlier this month.

This is despite the severe warning of wildfires throughout Scotland until next week, as it was advised by the Scottish fire and rescue service, who were already treating fire throughout the country.
