(Krona) – The jury of a Lafayette man was condemned last week after he followed the children from a pool, tied them to adhesive tape, carried the entire family, and threatened to kill parents in front of their children, according to the prosecutors.

Prosecutors said that Kenneth David MacCisak, 34, was convicted by a jury in the Contra Costa Province on Thursday on multiple criminal charges related to the invasion of houses in Lavai 2022. He is now facing a possible prison sentence.

The accident occurred on September 24, 2022 in a residential complex, where he lived MCISAAC and victims in various housing units. The children were playing in the group of the complex community with their mother. When the mother and children returned to the unit of their apartment, MCISAAC followed them inside and closed the door. The father of the children was at home in the living room at the time.

“(MCISAAC) raised his shirt to reveal what appeared to be a firearm.

DA office wrote that Mcisaac had carried the captive family and threatened to kill parents in front of their children, as the DA office wrote.

“Through the will and design, the husband was able to free himself from his links. When McISAAC returned to the living room, the husband fought again, eventually the intruder for a long time for the rest of the family to escape and ask for help.”

On objections from the prosecutors, in August 2023, the McISAAC case was transferred by the judge of the Mental Health Court and the criminal case was suspended. In September 2023, he was sent to a mental health treatment facility, where he was ordered to complete a 13 -month program. Prosecutors said that after only one month, he escaped from the unaccounted facility.

MCISAAC AT-Large remains for weeks. On November 14, 2023, the police tracked him in the Monkir neighborhood of Auckland and the K-9 unit arrested Escapee.

The MCISAAC case was reorganized to the criminal court system, which led to the trial of the jury last week. The jury found that the household invaders are guilty: kidnapping for ransom, child abuse, wrong imprisonment, and first -class residential theft.

“This sentence holds Kenneth MacCisak responsible for the damage caused by this family. His conviction sends a strong message that violent crimes of this type will not be tolerated in the Contra Costa Province,” said Diana Pecon, provincial lawyer.

Judge Mary Ann Omali will judge MCISAAC on June 6.
