Severe storms are expected to cause widespread disturbance from South Texas to North New York on Tuesday, bringing large cold threats, harmful winds and isolated hurricanes.
Nearly 42 million people are in the way of these storms, which are likely to be dangerous. In Oklahoma, thunderstorms remain active, with a severe thunderstorm in place until 10 am CT (11 am East time).

On Wednesday, the harsh weather threatens 11 million people across an area of central Texas to northern Arkansas. Cities include a larger danger Dallas, Texas, as well as Little Rock and Vitville in Arkansas.
Floods also constitute an increased concern starting from Tuesday, as flood hours affect about 7 million people from North Texas to southern Missouri.
