Scotrail has confirmed that the services between Glasow Queen and Airdrie Street are delayed or reviewed as a result of the accident.
In a statement, Scotterl said: “Because of the collapse train between Chitston and Blarylill, the turmoil is expected to be.
“The train services will be postponed between Glasgow Queen and Airdrie Street.”

They have confirmed that the issue is a “challenge” to fix it, and as a result, trains are transformed and the bell is crossed for the remainder of the day.

Scotrail added: “The error near Belshill proves a challenge for the team to fix it,” Scotrail added.
“Our services will be converted and will not contact them in Belshill on its way to Lanark for the rest of the evening.
“The engineers will return overnight to complete the reforms.”
Passengers are advised to check direct travel updates before launching and allowing additional time for their trips.
