Today, the United States is punishing an international network that facilitates the shipping of millions of Iranian crude oil barrels of billions of dollars to China on behalf of the General Staff of the Iranian Armed Forces (AFGS) and its front company, Sepehr Energy Jahan Nama Pers (SEPEHR ENERGY). Revenue from the sale of these oil funds is the development of ballistic missiles and unmanned air vehicles (drones), nuclear deployment, and Iranian terrorist agents, including Houthi attacks on the Red Sea, Navy and Israel.
The United States will continue to take action to support the National Security Memorandum 2, which imposes the utmost pressure on the Iranian regime to deny it to reach resources that maintain its destabilizing activities.
As long as Iran devotes its unlawful revenues to finance attacks on the United States and our allies, support terrorism around the world, and follow other actions to destabilize, we will continue to use all tools at our disposal to hold the regime accountable.
