Rome and London – Pope Francis appeared on Sunday in Saint Peter’s Square in the Vatican for the blessing of Easter, after a previous brief meeting with Vice President JD Vance.
The Apostolic Press Office in the Vatican said in a statement that Vans arrived in the Casa Santa Marta in the Vatican shortly after 11:30 am local time.

“The meeting, which lasted for a few minutes, gave them the opportunity to exchange greetings of Easter,” the office said.

Around the back, the 88 -year -old Pope appeared on the balcony on the front of the Church of St. Peter, overlooking the square full of crowds that attended the Easter bloc that has just ended.

He sits on his wheelchair, blessed the crowd and said, “Bona Paskua!” Or “Happy Easter!” Easter message included a call to end conflicts in the Middle East, Europe and Africa.
