The vibrant procession took over the city’s streets today.
More than 700 people participated in the colored event, which is one of the most important dates in the Sikh calendar.
It is a harvest festival in Punjab, northern India, which was chosen by Guru Jobind Singh in 1699 as a moment to create a sincere, the collective name of the baptized Sikhs.
The crowd marched through Southside, West End and the city center.
