“Today I reported Peter Laviolette and Hosley’s elephant that we are making a change in training,” the director of the Rangers player Chris Drauri said in a statement. “I would like to thank them both and I wish them and their families the best to go forward. Peter is the first degree along the way, professionally and personally, and I am really grateful for his passion and dedication in Rangers in his time as a head coach.”
“After completing the best record in the normal season in the NHL year ago and a trip to the Eastern Conference Final, we reached this season with great expectations for ourselves. Simply, we failed to meet these expectations.
