Senator Chris Van Holin (D-MD) said on Sunday to “Meet The Press” from NBC that the governor of the state Gavin Newsom (D-CA) does not deserve to lead if he is unable to defend the right of legal procedures due to the Kilmar Abrego Garcia case.
“Let me ask you about a reaction from within the Democratic Party while some other Democrats support you that this is not the issue that Democrats should focus on. Governor Gavin New Yoshom of California calls for the case of Mr. Abigo Garcia” A distraction today. “He argues that Democrats play in the hands of President Trump and the issues he wants to focus on.
Van Holin said: “I don’t think it is always a mistake to defend the constitution. This is not a one person.
“I think the Americans are tired of elected officials or politicians who are all fourth of the wind … Anyone who cannot defend the constitution and the right of legal procedures does not deserve leadership,” the Democratic legislator in Maryland concluded.
