Multiple injuries were reported in the Mexican naval ships

A training ship in the Mexican Navy known as Cuuhtémoc struck the Brooklyn Bridge in New York on Saturday evening around 8:26 pm, according to the New York Police Administration (NYPD) and the Mexican marine authorities.

At least 19 people were reported by four people suffering from serious injuries, according to the New York City mayor Eric Adams.

Context

The 297 -foot sailing ship, which was first launched in 1982, is the sailing pot in the first place to train Mexican marine students, and is usually carried out international intentions for various ports.

All Brooklyn Bridge corridors were briefly closed after the accident, but were reopened by 10:30 pm, according to emergency officials in New York.

What happens after that

The officials reported that there was no major damage to the Brooklyn Bridge during the press conference on Saturday evening. NYPD advised the population to avoid the areas surrounding the Brooklyn Bridge, the South Street SEAPORT in Manhattan, and Dumbo in Brooklyn due to the presence of a heavy emergency vehicle.

The respondents are currently treated with emergency cases, with a special focus on the three individuals who have been reported in a critical condition. Sea researchers and local authorities will determine the exact cause of collision, and study factors such as tidal and weather conditions and communication protocols between authorities and port authorities.
