In a rare move for the main restaurant chain operator, approximately 2000 sukiya outlets will be closed from 9 am on Monday to 9 am on Friday, while steps will be taken to prevent pests and flyrs.
Some ports such as those in shopping centers will be excluded from closing.
“We take the situation seriously,” Tokyo -based company said in a statement.
According to SUKIYA, a customer said on Friday that a part of a cockroach was found in the ready -made meal element from an outlet near the JR Akishima station in western Tokyo.
The person in charge of the restaurant apologized to the customer and gave them a recovery. The director voluntarily stopped working on Friday afternoon, according to Sukia.
A week ago, Sukia announced that a mouse had been discovered in a bowl of Miso’s soup, which was presented at an outlet in Totori in January.
