His office said on Sunday that former President Joe Biden had been diagnosed with prostate cancer.

Biden was seen last week by doctors after the urine symptoms, and prostate nodules were found. He was diagnosed with prostate cancer on Friday, when cancer cells spread to the bones.

His office said: “Although this represents a more aggressive form of the disease, the cancer seems to be sensitive to hormones, which allows effective management,” his office said. “The president and his family review the treatment options with his doctors.”
