The Minister of Higher Education, James, said that the total numbers in all fields are 1,000 euros over the past three years, it was not a “progressive” step.
The minister was talking about the “cost of education” event on Thursday, as students and colleges representatives would discuss the financial challenges facing learners and potential measures to address them.
Mr. Lawles at Dál indicated last week that more than half of the third -level students may face an increase in college fees amounting to 1000 euros this year if the cost of living cost is reduced or canceled.

The minister hinted that the reduction of 1000 euros can be reduced this year, which means an effective increase in fees for many students.
About half of students get the state to cover their entire student’s contribution. However, the rest will be subject to any effective increases in shipping if the reduction ends or reduces it.
Speaking after a conference on additional education and training, organized by the National Association of Directors and Representatives (NAPD) on Wednesday, Mr. Lawless said the reduction of 1000 euros was a “once” procedure as part of a special package of cost.
He said: “Budget discussions are still ongoing and whether there is a package of cost of living every year. “Whether there is money for social credits, energy or education still should be seen.”
While the government pledges program “reduces students’ contribution fees over the age of the government,” Mr. Lawles said that the starting point for this was 3000 euros instead of 2000 euros.

Mr. Lawles said he is inviting notes from stakeholders about the most advanced and fair way to support the cost of education over the coming years.

“The truth is that the fees have never changed, there was a temporary reduction, funded by the living package, but I know that people will not see this in this way; they will say that I must pay this year more than last year.”
He added, however, that the discounts in the college fees in the future must be “progressive, fair and sustainable.”
“Therefore, it is not a single time balance that provides one-time revenue or emergency packages-it is a sustainable thing, and we can repeat it, throughout the year, and it is delivered to those who need it more.
