The last violence and inflammatory discourse that target members of the Druze community in Syria is worthy of disregard and unacceptable. The interim authorities must stop the fighting, the perpetrators of the perpetrators of violence and civil harm responsible for their actions, and ensure the security of all Syrians.
Sectarianism will only drown Syria and the region in chaos and more violence. We have seen that the Syrians can solve their conflicts safely through negotiations. We call for a future representative government that protects and integrates all Syrian societies, including ethnic and religious minorities.
