Diplomatic security service picks up the Peruvian contact center required for fraud and extortion in the United States

Carla Majali Alasedo Mendoza is accused of managing a network of communication centers in Peru for more than five years and blackmailing more than $ 15 million in Spanish -speaking consumers in the United States. The long -term crime boom ended when the Diplomatic Security Department of the US State Department (DSS) worked with American partners and partners in Peru to determine the ALCEDO location and take it back to the United States to confront justice.

The ALCEDO calls targeted Spanish -speaking consumers in the United States, claiming that they are eligible for free laptops and English lessons. When the victims showed interest, they were threatened with legal procedures if they refused to pay fraudulent fees. The Office of the Ministry of Justice in International Affairs asked DSS to help determine the ALCEDO location and hand it over to the United States, where she wanted to try to conspire to commit fraud by mail, wires and extortion.

DSS has the largest global imprint of any law enforcement organization, and our partnerships abroad provide a unique advantage when investigating over national crimes. DSS investigators worked closely with the Peruvian Polo Examination Unit (PNP), which was identified and seized at Alratedo in March 2023, but was released on the conditional release. The Peruvian government agreed to hand it over to the United States in June 2024, but Alasedo did not appear to hear it. On April 30, 2025, DSS coordinates with the National Police in Peru, Interpol, Marshall American service, and the US postal inspection service to Delivery of Alisido to the United States Where it is accused of federal accusations of 18 raises presented in Florida.
