Deputy Foreign Minister Christopher Landau spoke with Greek Deputy Foreign Minister Alexandra Babadubulo on the phone today and again stressed the importance of the United States relations with tents and the minimum role in Greece in enhancing regional stability. The Deputy Secretary praised the strong defensive spending of Greece as a model for other European partners. The Deputy Minister and Deputy Foreign Minister also discussed joint priorities to end illegal immigration, the leadership of Greece in regional energy projects, as well as the strategic dialogue of the upcoming United States in Athens.
