Deputy Minister Christopher Landau spoke today with Indian Foreign Minister Vikram Missri. They discussed the ongoing efforts to reduce barriers that prevent the achievement of a fair and balanced trade relationship, enhancing cooperation in defense and technology, and increasing security and prosperity throughout the Pacific region. The Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs also thanked India in dealing with illegal immigration to the United States and asked the government of India to continue cooperation on this issue.
