Co-OP is the first major retail store in the UK to publish electronic rack stickers for all its stores.
The brand says that the step “will improve customer experience”, and it is hoped that 1500 electrical stickers store at the end of the year.
It is hoped that all 2400 CO-OP stores will have e-stickers by the end of 2026.
Although ASDA, Waitrose, Lidl and other supermarkets in the UK have already tried these electronic stickers, CO-OP is the first to adhere to placing technology in all its branches.
The retail seller works with the French company VUSIONGURP retail to replace their paper stickers, with the aim of converting about 40 branches per week to new stickers.
VUSIONGRUP is already working with a number of UK retailers including Morrison, and works with Walmart to bring its technology to 4,600 stores in the United States.

“With comfort in the heart of everything we do, CO-OP is committed to exploring innovative technology that can improve how we work,” said Stephen Logo, CO-OP Operations Chief of Operations.
“Electronic stickers have the ability to enhance product information and transparency, avoid paper waste, and make daily tasks such as choosing online orders easier – improving work methods, supporting our growth ambitions, and enhancing the shopping experience for our members and customers.”
The cooperative as well as the M&S was targeted through an electronic attack recently, leaving naked shelves and losing customer information, but it is understood that computer systems used to operate electronic stickers were not affected.
What are the benefits of electric cliff stickers?
The new e -stickers system connects the store floor with stock management systems. It allows employees to quickly update promotions, as well as display important product information such as allergens and the country of origin.
In the future, electronic stickers will be able to “flash” to show the employees to be stored for employees-it can also be used to help the staff cooperate upon request.
The retailer says that electronic stickers will also cut the waste of paper.
“We are very proud of this strategic partnership. CO-OP values are closely with our region, and this cooperation represents how technology can enhance sustainability and improve customer experience and colleagues in the store,” said Roy Hargean, CEO of VUSIONGURP UK and Ireland.
“The start of CO-IP shows its continuous commitment to investing in material stores that play a valuable role in the high streets in the UK, making it a positive impact on societies that serve them while enabling more desire to respond faster with the constantly changing market dynamics and customer needs.”
Where is it presented?
Currently, there are 340 cooperative branches that already contain electronic rack stickers.
There is no full list in every branch that has already been updated with electronic stickers, but customers will not have to wait a long time until their local branch gets the upgrade.
