Four people were accused by a major jury for stealing and recovering hundreds of Colorado Yassas Scratch tickets worth more than $ 150,000 from stores throughout the state, The Office of the Public Prosecutor in Colorado said on Monday.
Richard McBpe, Adam Pacico, Teni McCuri and David Joykin were suspected of stealing a felony after prosecutors said they stole the lottery tickets throughout the state between August 2023 and November 2024.
The McBe scheme included targeting fuel stations and shops with only one employee and using a partner to attract the writer away from the meter by buying propane tanks, claiming that the credit card was stuck in a pump or lounged gas.

Investigators follow at least 45 theft to stores in Denver, Aurora, Ervada, Wheat Ridge, Likwood, Englo, Greenwood Fielding, Westminster, Trade City, Thornton, Henderson, Bromfield, Bulder, IRI, Longont, Firestone, Dacono, Perthod, Johnston, City, Idaho Springs, Avon and Glinwood Springs, according to court records.
McBe was accused of four charges of theft while Pacheco, McCurry and Goetken are accused of one charge, all of them criminal.
The following court dates were not available on Monday.
