A truck driver was taken to hospital after a major crash with a shipping train on Monday.
The driver and train platform collided near the RD RD and Hopkinson RD intersection in Cardup, a suburb of southeast Perth, before one in the afternoon.
Emergency services raced to the scene of the accident and the firefighters had to free the truck from his car carefully before being transferred to the hospital.
The Orieson railway operator, Orrezon, said that its crew was unharmed, but it was left to vibrate.
