Accounting on material support for Houthi terrorist activity and relevant networks
On March 5, 2025, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ansar Allah, was usually referred to as the Houthis, as a foreign terrorist organization (FTO), to fulfill one of President Trump’s first promises when taking office.
President Trump also put in an executive order 14175, “The Houthi activities threaten the security of American civilians and employees in the Middle East, the safety of our closest regional partners, and the stability of global maritime trade.”
The United States will not tolerate any country or commercial entity that provides support to foreign terrorist organizations, such as the Houthis, including unloading ships and providing oil in the Houthi -controlled ports. Such measures risk violating American law.
