The head of the Ministry of Chicago Interim Airlines is a rude lawyer in each of the Awhair and Midway International Airports.
Acting CDA Commissioner, Tristi Payne Jimmy Rey, is replacing the agency’s former president who retired on April 15 after his service nearly seven years ago.
The following commissioner will inherit a complex portfolio of rotating priority from economic growth in Ohair and Midway, to capital projects, safety, aircraft noise, and aviation noise.
Pine previously worked as deputy director of the Commissioner/Chief Administrative official. Its duties include dealing with daily operational details of financing, salary statements, international government affairs and workforce development.
She also worked for more than 25 years for the city’s Ministry of Law, where she was the chief adviser to the Foundation. Its concentration included airport financing and assignment, as well as safety and security in O’Hare and Midway.
Payne has a certificate in law from the University of Illinois in Urbana Champin.
One of the ongoing challenges for the next commissioner is the terminal program, a modernization that includes the demolition of station 2 and its replacement with a global station. The project achieved an approximate correction last year amid objections from US Airlines and UNIDED Airlines due to the cost, but a compromise was reached in May 2024.
Another distinct issue is the rotation of the city suggested overnight. The O”Hare Consensus Committee spent years to reach a 2022 compromise aimed at distributing the runway use equally at night. The plan was presented to the Federal Aviation Administration by CDA, but it is still in the early stages of the review.
Meanwhile, the gathered suburbs around Ayher will benefit from a commissioner who has a good relationship with ONCC. RHEE was a regular attachment in OnCC meetings, which were not always.
Rhee was appointed by former Chicago mayor Ram Emmanuel in 2018 when Commissioner Jenger Evans left three years after work. Evans came from the Washington Airport Authority, but Emmanuel looked closer to the home to replace him, as Rey chose the chief purchasing official in Chicago.
