Sunbridge Childcare Ltd suggested that Fairlawn convert one housing home on Winjit Road, Tremdon Colry, to a residential child care home.
The house aims to accommodate up to four children, between the ages of 11 and 17, in a clock facility by trained pediatric care professionals.
The planning statement presented by Sunbridge ChildCare Ltd emphasizes the national and regional deficiency in children’s care, which the proposed facility aims to help.
The number of children searched in Durham jumped by 62 percent from 2015 to 2022.
A future change of use may include adjustments such as the new courtyard, increased provision of parking from two to four surveyors, and related works.
The location of 429 square meters, which is close to Trimdon and close to various amenities, schools and transportation links, already has the facilities needed for proposed use.
Under the operational plans, the building will include four bedrooms, two -bedroom bedrooms, kitchen/joint food area, a utility room and a game room.
The proposed employment structures will include a manager, deputy director, team leader and residential care employees, with a minimum of two employees at the site at all times.
