The spill, caused by a crash on the Grand Highway in Manchester, causes congestion this evening.
The accident on the M62 has closed two paths, in addition to the route of slipping on the A627 (M), which has been reopened since then.
“J20 J20 EXIT SLIP for A627M is now open,” said a spokesman for the National Roads.
“Two paths (three) are still closed to the West M62 near the Rocdale between J21 Newhey & J20 due to collision.
“Specialized equipment on the road.
“Delay up to 60 minutes and approximate 6 miles of congestion on the approach.”
