Horror crashes occurred on November 1 of last year and sparked an investigation into the police.

The Criminal Investigative Judge has now ruled that the West Sussex County Council must prove more safety measures along the way.

A probe found that there was no criminal evidence of any mechanical problems in Doreen.

The officers also concluded that the 91 -year -old did not suffer from a weakness that would affect her leadership.

The police said the death was not treated as suspicious, adding that it would prepare a file for the roads.
