He said: “My direct thoughts are with his wife Ona, their two children, Ayouv, Arain, his parents, his family, and his friends.”

“The spirit of Garda Siwana,” said Garda Flatley.

“He worked in the service of those who lived side by side,” he said.

“I am very aware that Garda Flati died while doing what Gardei is doing every day throughout the country, and he works to keep us safe. His death is a blatant reminder to all of us of the very real dangers that we are a member of Garda Seuchana.

“Today is an opportunity for us to remember and get to know the self -denial and the courage of those who left, and the brave members of Garda Seusana went to work one morning and did not return to the house tragicly, after they were killed in the duties of duty.”

His tragic death is a flagrant reminder of the fragility of life and the risks that Garde faces daily in their duties.

“It brings us back all the sadness and pain that we feel as individuals and association, after it lost a member of his family.

Unfortunately, our honor now stands at 90 Gardai. Kevin will soon join the other 89 names engraved on Garda Memorial here, and every day my Garda’s memorial when we meet here in these beautiful surrounding areas, we will remember Kevin and all those who were killed in the duty line.
