Part of the M25 was closed after a carrier fire, which led to six miles of traffic congestion for drivers during the crowded morning peak hour.
Two pillars of the UK’s most high -end roads were closed this morning, with three fire engines at the scene. The accident occurred on M25, reversing the clockwise direction between Al Wasl 8 for the A217 (Reigate) and Junction 7 for M23.
“A traffic queue for two miles and two corridors is closed due to a truck fire on M25 anti -clockwise from J8 A217 (ReIGATE) to J7 M23,” says INRIX.
“The congestion of the spectators as well. Three extinguishing engines are prepared in the first and second passages (from four), after a short suspension to remove the cones.”
